The 2012 ASB Polyfest will celebrate its 37th year. This annual event is the largest Maori and Pacific Island cultural festival in the world, attracting 90,000 spectators and 9000 students competing from 60 schools.
The festival will take place from 14 to 17 March at the Manukau Sports Bowl, which will come alive with passion, culture, colour and creativity.
The ASB Polyfest features traditional music, dance, costume, food, stalls and speech, and is now recognised as an important showcase of New Zealand’s diverse cultures and a celebration of youth performance.
