Lilo, of Maori, Niuean and Samoan ancestry, is a bright star of both Pacific and mainstream arts sectors who has accrued a prolific and luminous CV since graduating from AUT with a Master of Art and Design in 2007.
Her documentary-style work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, and she has been the recipient of CNZ funding and two international residencies.
Lilo describes the objective of her practice as being "to engage, involve, research and educate diverse communities using visual art and creative processes as a platform for learning and empowerment".
