We have managed to hold the cost of these courses at the same price prior to the GST increase. None of the courses are run for profit and many are subsidized.

A two day course offering guidance to those seeking resource consents requiring the design, construction and maintenance of stormwater treatment devices. The course covers an array of TP10 protocols.
Suitable for contractors, consultants, engineers, land developers, maintenance staff and stormwater staff in local and regional councils.
TP10 Stormwater management design training course (377kb)
A one day course providing an overview on the HEC-HMS package, including an illustrated example and a workshop session to teach practical uses of the package in the region.
Suitable for consultants, engineers, local and regional council staff.
HEC-HMS Hydrological Modelling System course (200kb)
A 1 day course that will introduce contractors to the impact of poor environmental controls and the need for good management of erosion and sediment, and an introduction to the methods of erosion and sediment control, including a visit to a working site.
Suitable for civil construction contractors.
Erosion and sediment control course - for contractors (172kb)
A 2 day course of practical workshops introducing consultants to TP 90 Erosion and Sediment Controls, the estimation of sediment yields and the preparation of best practice erosion and sediment control plans. The course will include a visit to a study site and another to a working site.
Suitable for consultants and civil engineers.

A half day workshop giving practical information on the chemicals and chemical treatments available to manage sediment discharge.
Suitable for contractors, consultants, engineers, land developers, construction and maintenance staff, local and regional council staff.
Chemical treatment of stormwater course (129kb)
These two courses outline the management of sediment runoff and other environmental issues encountered on small house lot sites. They address the issues you are faced with on small sites and provide practical approaches to minimise the impacts.
Suitable for council staff, contractors, trades people and developers who work on and develop house lots or small building sites.
