The development of Ormiston Town Centre is a joint venture between Howick Local Board, Auckland Council Property Limited and Todd Property Group.

The project will see the site east of Ormiston Bridge near Chapel Road transformed into a 19ha town centre for the high-growth area.

Around 80 local residents and community leaders have come together to share their vision for the new Ormiston Town Centre.

The Ormiston Reference Group's role is to act as a sounding board and help guide the development of facilities and services in the town centre, ensuring they meet the needs of the community.

The group recently provided feedback to Howick Local Board on the services and programmes they would like to see at the planned community arts facility and library.
