Auckland Council's Southern Regional Park team would like to invite you to our annual volunteer planting days. This year we have four scheduled days and over 20,000 trees to plant, so we need your help.
Planting days are suitable for all ages and abilities. Bring sturdy enclosed shoes or boots, gloves, a rain coat, a spade (if you have one), a cold drink, family and friends - and plenty of energy.
We can provide the plants and some gloves and spades, but numbers are limited so if you have one, bring it along.
Park rangers will be on site to show you how to give the plants the best chance of survival and to provide a thank you sausage sizzle at lunchtime.
Planting days will go ahead regardless of the weather.
