About the awards
Waitematā Local Board is calling for nominations for the 2021 Good Citizens' Awards, which will celebrate individuals and groups who help make the Waitematā a great place to live.
Nominations open on Monday 20 September and close on Sunday 24 October 2021.
Successful nominees will be recognised at the Waitematā Good Citizens' Awards ceremony, to be held at Auckland Town Hall on Friday 26 November 2021.
Individuals who give their time to make a positive difference for the benefit of the community.
Children and Young People Award (24 years and under)
Children and young people who give their time to make a positive difference for the benefit of the community.
Community Group Award
Community organisations or groups who make an outstanding contribution to the community, and / or provide a platform for individuals to volunteer their time.
