About these metrics

​It is important that calls to the council are handled quickly and efficiently so services are provided to keep people safe from harm and nuisance.

Many services are provided by our Licensing and Compliance division, with aims to have:

  • an Auckland free of public nuisance
  • Aucklanders safe from animal-related harm and nuisance
  • Aucklanders undisturbed by noise pollution
  • safe food premises
  • safe health and hygiene premises
  • a reduction in alcohol-related harm.
