Studio One Toi Tū is a inner-city creative hub that hosts studio and exhibition spaces, artist residencies, venues for hire, creative courses and workshops for all levels of experience.

Its four galleries are located on the ground floor of the landmark Ponsonby building. Studio space is available for hire in three locations, offering opportunities for artists, designers and other creative people to collaborate.

Studio One Toi Tū is an Auckland Council arts facility, supported by the Waitematā Local Board.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday, 10am to 6pm

Saturday, 10am to 4pm

Closed on Sunday and public holidays.

Change to opening hours from 19 October 2022 to July 2023

Studio One Toi Tū will close to the public on 19 October so seismic strengthening work can take place.

During this time Studio One Toi Tū will relocate to 238 Karangahape Road.

The opening hours from 27 October will be:

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 10am to 6pm

Thursday, 10am to 8pm

Saturday, 10am to 4pm

Closed on Monday, Sunday and public holidays.

You can book a Studio One Toi Tū venue for meetings, small conferences, pop-up events, receptions, classes and training seminars.

Accessibility

There is accessible parking nearby and the facility is wheelchair accessible.
