How to evaluate Auckland's historic heritage
We need to assess places against the criteria in the Auckland Unitary Plan (AUP). This will determine if they meet the thresholds for scheduling in the AUP.
Methodology and guidance document
The methodology and guidance document is split into sections. They explain the process and what is needed to prepare an evaluation.
The appendices provide further guidance and examples.
Historic heritage evaluation template
The template would help to:
- make a consistent and robust evaluation of new places proposed for the inclusion in Schedule 14.1 Schedule of historic heritage
- understand the content needed in each section.
