Producer statement author acceptance and management criteria

You need to check the producer statement policy for changes to acceptance and management criteria.
The policy:

  • sets out the conditions for the acceptance
  • establishes who is accountable and responsible for managing the risk associated with producer statements.

Description Fee
Registration for a producer statement author - Fixed fee (non-refundable, no additional charges)$750
Renewal of registration (every three years) - Fixed fee (non-refundable, no additional charges)$500
Register as a high-risk producer statement author - Base fee (non-refundable, additional charges may apply)$750
Changes to an existing producer statement author outside the renewal process (includes changes to company names) - Fixed fee (non-refundable, no additional charges)$250
Additions to existing producer statement author and Independent Qualified Person (excludes high risk) - Fixed fee (non-refundable, no additional charges)$250

We issue producer statement author invoices once you submit your application.

All invoices must be paid before we will approve your application.

How to register as a producer statement author

Email producerstatement@aucklandcouncil.govt.nz with your completed application form and supporting documents.

What happens next

It takes approximately 30 working days to evaluate the application.

We will let you know the decision by email.

When we approve your registration

You will need to:

  • renew your registration every three years
  • provide a three-year professional development log with your renewal application
  • give your current insurance details to us annually to keep your authorship active.
