Buying a property

Updates to Auckland Council property files and reports during COVID-19 Orange setting.

​LIM and property reports

Status: Online services only

There may be delays in processing applications for LIMs and property files digitally.

Service Centres may be able to assist with LIMs and property files although check the Interruptions to our services and facilities due to COVID-19 page for centre availability prior to your visit.

We cannot provide hardcopy files & USBs. We are also not allowing pick-ups nor viewings under the current COVID Protection Framework setting.

Some Property Files and LIMs ordered online are unable to be processed due to limited access to buildings and hardcopy files. We will process these applications once we have access to our offices during the COVID Protection Framework.

When an order is received for an address that cannot be processed, the Property Files/LIMs Teams will contact the customer directly.

We are unable to provide in-person property file viewings at our service centres.

We cannot provide hardcopy files. We are not accepting postal applications, nor allowing pick-ups or viewings.
