  • Candidates officially declared in public notice

  • Final electoral roll certified by Electoral Officer *

  • Voting papers sent to enrolled voters

    16 September - 21 September 2022

  • Voting opens

    16 September - 8 October 2022

  • Voting closes at 12 noon

    8 October 2022

  • Progress results published

    8 October 2022

  • Preliminary results published

​* The Electoral Officer is legally required to verify the electoral roll 25 days before election day (8 October 2022). This is stated under section 51 of the Local Electoral Act 2001 and regulation 22 of the Local Electoral Regulations 2001.

You should know

Progress results include votes returned up until Friday 7 October.  Special votes and votes hand delivered by 12 noon on Saturday 8 October are not included.

Preliminary results include votes hand delivered up until 12 noon on Saturday  8 October.  Special votes are not included.

Final count includes all votes, including special votes that are returned by 12 noon on Saturday 8 October.

Official results The Declaration of Official Results was announced in a public notice by the Electoral Officer on Saturday 15 October.
