Where to pick up and drop off your nomination forms

You can pick up or drop off your nomination forms at 19 locations across Auckland from 10am-4pm, Monday to Friday from 15 July 2022.

These services will be available for the whole nomination period until 12 noon Friday 12 August 2022.

At these locations you can:

  • pick up printed nomination forms
  • drop off your completed nomination forms.

From 15 July 2022, you will be able to download and print your candidate nomination forms at home for the local elections 2022. Check back soon on this website.

Once you have completed the form you can post it back to Election Services or bring it to one of the drop off locations.

You should know

For your nomination to be accepted, you will need to:

  • pay a $200 nomination deposit when you drop off your completed forms
  • provide a photo of yourself
  • provide a candidate profile statement.

Don't leave it until the last minute – if there is a problem with your nomination form, you will need enough time to fix it before nominations close.

Nominations will not be accepted after 12 noon on 12 August 2022.
