MOTAT is New Zealand's largest transport and technology museum.
Located in Western Springs, MOTAT displays technologies and inventions from the steam age through to more modern innovations.
Regular exhibitions, programmes, interactive activities and collections teach visitors about our transport heritage, including tram, rail and road transport, plus aviation and military aircraft.
MOTAT operates under the Museum of Transport and Technology Act 2000.
