Formed in 2013, TRC is a Crown entity that is jointly owned by the government and Auckland Council.
TRC is leading urban regeneration activity in Tāmaki to achieve four strategic objectives:
- social transformation
- economic development
- placemaking
- housing resources.
At a local level, TRC is working in partnership with Auckland Council, Panuku Development Auckland, other CCOs, the Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board, local residents and businesses, and mana whenua.
