Meetings of the Governing Body and Committees of the Whole (the Governing Body's main committees) are streamed live.
A Committee of the Whole includes:
- the mayor
- all councillors
- Houkura (formerly Independent Māori Statutory Board) members.
There are currently three Committees of the Whole:
- Budget Committee
- Policy and Planning Committee
- Transport, Resilience and Infrastructure Committee.
