Reasons why we can cancel an RDOL
We can cancel your RDOL following:
- a substantiated complaint A complaint that was upheld after investigation and deemed justified. about your dog
- impoundment Shut up in a pound or enclosure. of your dog
- seizure of your dog
- abatement An official letter asking for a reduction in the amount of something, or that something should stop. Examples would be dog barking or excessive noise. or infringement under the Dog Control Act 1996
- your dog being caught roaming twice in a 12-month period
- your dog not being registered on time.
Cancellation conditions
If your RDOL is cancelled, you will lose it for a full 12-month registration period. If you receive any more infringements within those 12 months, the loss of RDOL will continue.
