What did our forests sound like before humans arrived in New Zealand and why are they so different today?
Using animation, drama and games, students experience the significant events that have contributed to the decline and extinction of many New Zealand bird species.
In the forest they will meet some of our unique forest biodiversity and learn how they can take action to protect it through engaging, hands-on activities such as planting native seedlings, using monitoring tunnels and investigating traps.
