Details of the proposed activity

Resource consent is sought for the discharge of treated wastewater and associated land modification for a constructed treatment wetland. This involves consents for infrastructure, coastal permit, and discharge of wastewater from a consented wastewater treatment plant to constructed treatment wetlands and then into the stormwater network and ultimately into water (Tūranga Creek), the General Coastal Marine Zone and the immediately adjacent Significant Ecological Area.
