Details of the proposed activity

A coastal permit is required for the installation and operation of electrical charging equipment to enable the charging of low-emission ferries on Piers 2, 4 and 5 of the Downtown Ferry Terminal with associated works for a period of 5 years. See section 4.2 of the Assessment of Environmental Effects for a full list reason for consent. Overall, the proposal is a Discretionary activity.
