Auckland Council invites expressions of interest from local community groups to lease the space in Elizabeth Campbell Hall, 294 Great South Road, Papakura.
The building is currently vacant and council’s community occupancy guidelines provide for advertising the availability of various spaces within the building.
Groups applying must be:
- An incorporated society or a charitable trust and conform to the criteria outlined in council’s Community Occupancy Guidelines 2012
- Able to identify positive community outcomes that will occur as a result of their tenancy
- Able to demonstrate a willingness to share spaces within the buildings as appropriate.
It is expected that groups will be locally based, and each use their space in the building for at least 20 hours per week.
Auckland Council reserves the right to seek proposals and applications from other parties in addition to those who respond to this invitation, and to accept or reject any applications.
