Under section 54(2) of the Reserves Act 1977 Auckland Council notifies its intention to grant a new commercial Telecommunications Licence at Ōkaurirahi (Ceramco Park), 112-122 Glendale Road, Glen Eden to Fortysouth Group LP for the purpose of operating telecommunications equipment.
The land is legally described as Lot 1 DP 35583, contained in part Record of Title NA13D/1393 and comprises 1.6203 hectares. Currently held in fee simple by Auckland Council as a classified recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977.
The licensed area is approximately 18m2 and the telecommunications equipment is located at the South side of the Ceramco Park Function Centre. Telecommunications equipment has been on site since 1 April 2010.
If granted, the proposed new commercial Telecommunications Licence is for a term of 20 years.
The commencement date of the new commercial Telecommunications Licence will be 1 September 2026. The final expiry date will be 31 August 2046.
