1. Submit your documents

Attach the following information to your application:

a copy of a valid New Zealand drivers license
a map showing the proposed access route
proof of address (only if you are applying for access to private property)
in some cases you may also need permission from other agencies, such as the Department of Conservation, iwi or the NZ Transport Agency.

Note: Make sure your route is marked accurately on your map.

I will comply with the conditions of my permit and notify Auckland Council immediately if there is an accident or serious incident.
I understand the environmental and cultural importance of the area and will take reasonable care to avoid damage or disturbance.
I understand that if I do not follow these requirements, my permit may be cancelled immediately and I may face fines, enforcement action or be held responsible for any damage.
Auckland Council may charge me for the actual and reasonable costs of processing this application. These fees are set out in Auckland Council's fees and charges schedule.
