Contact us on 09 301 0101, between 8.30am and 12 noon weekdays (excluding public holidays), to discuss your application for sign approval with a resource consents officer.

Hauraki Gulf Islands' planners are not available over the phone immediately. A member of our customer service team will arrange to call you back.

• Certificate of Title less than three months old.
• Locality plan or aerial photo showing where you want to put the sign.
• Details of the Signs Bylaw 2022 clause that you want approval for.
• Two copies (including one unbound) of all your information and application form –  if you give us a PDF electronic version, we don't need an extra hard copy.

If you want to put up multiple signs in one location, you only need to pay one fee. However, if you want to put them in multiple locations, you will need to pay a fee for each location.

We will contact you if we need to charge additional fees, as part of the assessment of your application.

You must pay a non-refundable deposit with your application.
