About Keith Hay Park

Keith Hay Park - The Arundel Street car park has safe pedestrian accessways.

Named after Keith Hay an ex-mayor of the Mt Roskill Borough Council, this is one of our largest and most used parks.

A good network of accessible paths connect many parts of the community.

Access the main car park from Arundel Street and the two smaller car parks from Rainford Street and Noton Road.

The main playground, accessible toilets and a basketball half court are in the middle of the park by the Arundel Street entrance.

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

Keith Hay Park – Playground with set of swings, swinging basket, climbing frame, and double slides.

A well-designed space with elaborate climbing frame, two slides, swing set with basket swing. Parents can enjoy the seating beside playground.

This park is well connected with wide accessible footpaths.

Pedestrian access

Open 24 hours. The flat paths throughout the park are all accessible.

Limited mobility toilets

Accessible toilets are next to all three car parks at Arundel and Rainford streets and Noton Road. Arundel and Rainford street toilets are open from 5am to 11pm daily. Noton Road toilets are open from 5am to 9pm daily.

Located at the south-west corner of Arundel Street car park, near the Rainford Street entrance and Noton Road car park. Arundel Street and Rainford Street toilets are open from 5am to 11pm daily. Noton Road toilets are open from 5am to 9pm daily.

Mobility parking

The car parks off Arundel and Rainford streets and Noton Road all have accessible parking. Gates open from 5am to 11pm daily.

Car parks

One large car park in the middle of the park - access from Arundel Street. Access the two smaller car parks from Rainford Street and Noton Road. Gates open from 5am to 11pm daily.

Cricket nets

Located towards at the north and south-west ends of the park.

Located on the south-west corner at the Arundel Street carpark.

Activities at Keith Hay Park

Walking

The flat paths through this park are all accessible. A well lit shared path cycleway runs the length of the eastern side of the park. A looped path around the playing fields at the northern end is great for walkers and joggers.

Basketball

The half-court is in the middle of the park by the Arundel Street entrance.

Cycling

The lit shared path cycleway runs the length of the eastern side of the park connecting Waikowhai and Hillsborough with Three Kings, the SH16 cycle way and the Roskill Schools Campus in the north.
