Chalmers Reserve
22 Chalmers Street, Avondale

About Chalmers Reserve

This large park runs alongside the railway tracks, and connects Chalmers Street and Barrhead Place.

A network of good paths throughout the reserve provide lots of opportunity to stretch your legs, explore the area and enjoy nature.

A playground, seating and picnic tables are inside the reserve.

A native orchid conservation area is in one section of the reserve. From July to December each year the area is left unmown to allow the orchids to flower and their seeds to disperse.
