About Tahuna Torea Nature Reserve
Tahuna Torea Nature Reserve - Section of the coastal wetlands.
Large open space and coastal wetland with bush tracks and freshwater ponds.
Some of the tracks have steps and uneven terrain. Keep an eye open for birdlife as you enjoy the walk.
Access from car park entrance from Takahi Road. Pedestrians can also access from Roberta Reserve and Vista Crescent.
Seating and parking are inside the park.
Follow the Glendowie Park to Tahuna Torea Path for a scenic 2.6 km walk.

Animals
Dogs are prohibited at all times.
Alcohol

Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
