About Ponderosa Reserve

This large reserve is split by Ponderosa Drive.
The northern side is open grassed space with trees providing lots of space for recreational activities. Access this side via a walkway between numbers 41 and 43 Ponderosa Drive, Fernhill Way, and Northcross Drive.
Access the southern side of the reserve from Ponderosa Drive to enjoy the playground, soccer wall and climbing net, and seating. There is plenty of open grassed space on this side as well.
You will need to find parking on the surrounding streets.

Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
