About Awaruku Reserve
A beautiful bush covered area with waterfall and good walking paths. You can reach the waterfall from the main track at Awaruku Road. This track is suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.
Some of the other walking tracks have steps, boardwalks and small bridges.
There are picnic tables and seating inside the reserve. You can access the reserve between numbers 13 and 19 Awaruku Road, 18 and 20 Moorgreen Heights and 12E and 17 Relko Crescent. You will need to find parking on the street.
You can walk to Glenvar Glade Reserve which is on Glenvar Road to extend your walk.

Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
