About Aorere Park

Aorere Park - Fitness equipment.

Large sports park with mature trees separating the sports fields, and plenty of open space for recreational activities.

Access two of the car parks from Raglan Street, one from Haddon Street, and one from Skipton Street. Pedestrians can also access from Woburn Street. Park gates are open 7am-9pm in summer and 7am-7pm in winter.

A playground, toilets and changing rooms, car park, sports fields, artificial cricket pitch, basketball and volleyball court, fitness equipment, picnic table and seating are inside the park.

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

Playgrounds at Aorere Park

Aorere Park - Junior play module showing the climbing ramp, low slide and crawl tunnel.

This large playground is divided into separate areas for the different age groups.

The junior area has a low climbing structure with a ramp, crawl tunnel and open slide. There is also a set of low swings including a basket swing, water play and a wheelchair accessible spinner.

For the more adventurous kids there is an area with high swings, a variety of climbing nets and a high closed slide.

A basketball court, fitness equipment and toilets are nearby.
