About Aickin Reserve

This park has lots of open green space for running around, and large trees providing much needed shelter and shade. A concrete path with lighting along the length of the reserve provides access to fitness equipment, a small wharf and a car park.

The path also connects to the pedestrian underpass under Beach Road allowing access to the playground and facilities at Waiake Beach Reserve.

Access the car park from Beach Road. Pedestrians can also access the park from Deep Creek Road.

The park is home to the Torbay Sailing Club.

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
