This playground is located in the heart of Riverhead, within the beautiful Riverhead War Memorial Park.

There is ample parking off street and on street parking on Princes Street and the play area offers seating around the perimeter shaded by large established trees.

The playspace offers something for most. There is challenging play for older children, plenty for smaller children too, including a playhouse and small nature play trail.

There is a set of colourful sound play instruments and access to a carousel for those with limited mobility. There are slides, swings and a ropes course among other fun play experiences.

The playground surface is comprised of wetpour safety surfacing (accessible for all) and soft wooden cushion fall.

Riverhead War Memorial park also offers a 1.8m wide perimeter footpath around the sport fields which offers an enjoyable walk for those wanting to stretch their legs further.
