About Goodall Reserve

This is a large reserve with a combination of open grassed space and bush. A good network of paths connect the entrances and facilities, and the path through to Te Whau Esplanade Reserve.
Access the large car park from opposite 297 Mahurangi East Road. Pedestrians can also access the reserve from Hamatana Road, and walkways off the end of Foster Crescent and Cornel Circle.
A car park, sports fields, tennis courts, skate park, drinking fountain, bike stand, and lots of seating are inside the reserve.
The Mahurangi East Library and the bookable Mahurangi East Community Centre are located at the northern end of the reserve off Hamatana Road.
You need to know
Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
