About Coletta Esplanade
This very long park follows along the edge of the Waikumete Stream.
There are picnic tables and seating, and fitness equipment along the path. You can cross the bridge at the northern end of the park to get to Sherwood Park. You can also follow the path south to the adjoining Chilcott Brae.
Access the park from Blethyn Place, Colletta Lane, Central Park Drive, and School Road. You will need to park on the road.
Follow the 6km Henderson Loop Path. You can also continue south by following the 8km Henderson Creek Path.

Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
