Large sports park with some open space for general recreational activities. A path runs around the perimeter of the park.

Access from the end of McLeod Road.

A playground, car park, toilets, sports fields, drinking fountain, picnic table and seating are inside the park.

You need to know

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

Follow these rules to keep yourself and others safe:

Playgrounds are risky and designed to challenge – always supervise children.
Use play equipment as it is intended.
Playgrounds are for everyone – respect others, take turns.

Summer tips:

Playground surfaces get hot – check before using and wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
Play when it’s cool and avoid the heat of the day.
