About Hilders Park

Pretty coastal park at the northern end of Beach Haven Road. Stairs take you from the entrance down to Hilders Park beach and wharf, and the walkway around the water's edge.
Picnic tables and seating are at the top of the stairs and along the walkway.
There are two barbecues at the southern end of the walkway, where you will also find a sand play area with an old wooden boat.
Public toilets and the nearest bus stop are on Beach Haven Road by the entrance to the park.
Access the park from Beach Haven Road. You will need to find parking on the road.

Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol

Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
