About Normanton Reserve

Normanton Reserve - Basketball court.

This is a pretty park with open space, a great network of paths suitable for walking and jogging, or the kids to ride their bikes.

Large trees provide much needed shelter and shade, and provide perfect spots to settle with a picnic.

Access the park from Normanton Street, McHardy Place, and Ashfield Road. You will need to park on the street.

A large playground, toilets, basketball court, fitness equipment, skate areas, picnic tables, and seating are inside the park.

Follow the Normanton Reserve Path around the park.

You need to know

Animals

Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Alcohol

Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.

Smokefree parks

Our parks are all smokefree.

Waste

Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

Outdoor fires

It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.

Playgrounds at Normanton Reserve

Normanton Reserve - Playground with climbing and spinning equipment, wobbly bridge and more.

This large playground has something for all ages with climbing equipment, slides, swings, and rocking and spinning toys.

A basketball court, area for skateboards and fitness equipment are nearby.

The full court is in the middle of the park beside the playground.

A variety of fitness equipment is spaced along the path around the perimeter of the reserve.

There are ramps and ledges by the basketball court.
