You need to know
Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.
Alcohol
Alcohol is banned from some public places in Auckland. See Alcohol bans to find out the rules for each park and view ban maps.
Smokefree parks
Our parks are all smokefree.
Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Outdoor fires
It is illegal to light open fires in public areas in the Auckland region.
Ngā Puna means 'springs'. It refers to the many springs in the Pūkaki area.
The local name Pūkaki is also a reference to the local freshwater springs - Te Pūkaki-tapu-o-Pou-tū-keka or 'the sacred headspring of Pou-tū-keka' - used for important cleansing rituals.
Always follow the rules shown on our website for where you can walk your dog, even if the information on park signs does not match. Call us on 09 301 0101 if you need help.

This modern playground is fully fenced and has lots to keep all ages busy.
The junior play area has a low play module with slides, ramps, climbing net, wobbly bridge, a shop for role play, low swings, nature play and a green spinner.
Older kids will enjoy the three-level tower with a winding covered slide, climbing net and wall and the high swings.
A large shade sail provides shade over the picnic area.
Fully fenced
A mix of bark, wet-pour and concrete helps access into some of the play areas. However, the playground doesn't have any accessible play equipment.
