122 Elstree Avenue, Point England
This reserve occupies 41 hectares and has a combination of rural (grazed) land, coastal edge along the Tāmaki Estuary and connections along the Omaru Stream.
The reserve borders Elstree Avenue in the west and Point England Road and Riverside Reserve in the south. The eastern edge of the reserve runs along the Tāmaki River. The northern end adjoins Wai-O-Taiki Nature Reserve.
The reserve is home to the Glenn Innes Pool and Leisure Centre.
Access the car park from Elstree Avenue. Pedestrians can also access from Pt England Road.
A playground, car park (including mobility parking), toilets and changing rooms, barbecues, sports fields, basketball court, cricket pitch, and picnic tables and seating, and drinking fountains are inside the park.
Follow the Tāmaki Path along the water from Dunkirk Reserve to Wai-O-Taiki Nature Reserve.
After 15 years in motion, the Ngāti Pāoa Treaty settlement came into effect on Wednesday 4 March 2026. This marks a significant milestone for the Tāmaki and Hauraki iwi and for Tāmaki Makaurau as a whole. The settlement includes the return of this culturally significant site (formerly Point England Reserve) from the Crown.

Animals
Dogs must be on leash at all times in our parks unless otherwise stated in the dog walking section.

Waste
Use bins where provided to dispose of your rubbish. If there are no bins take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
