This walkway follows the coast around the edge of the Wattle Downs peninsula, through Moko-kauri / Kauri Point Reserve and Reremoana / Wattle Downs Esplanade Reserve.
You can enjoy views of the Manukau Heads, and look out for wading birds like the tōrea (oystercatcher) and the white-faced heron.
This is a shared path for walkers and cyclists.

Dogs have to be under control at all times either on leash or off leash.
The path is mostly flat with a few small hills, and is suitable for all ages and abilities.
Most of the walk is accessible by wheelchair and pushchair.
There is seating at several points of the walkway.
The walkway starts at Bluewater Place and continues around the shoreline to Frangipani Avenue.
There are also several access points off Carnoustie Drive.
