You cannot take coal or wood burning barbecues into local parks, reserves or beaches.
You can take your own gas barbecue into local parks, reserves and beaches but you must not use it near or under trees.
Regional parks
You can take your own gas barbecue to our regional parks, but you must:
use it off the ground
not use it near or under trees.
You can use contained solid fuel Solid fuels can include wood, charcoal, coal and Hexamine fuel tablets. cooking fires like barbecues in picnic areas, but you must check FENZ fire restrictions first.
