Glenfern Cottage at Glenfern Sanctuary Regional Parkland
This quaint three bedroom cottage is set among the gardens and lawns within the Glenfern Sanctuary Regional Park. It was used as the nurses' station during WWII and has been fully restored.
The cottage can accommodate up to six people.
It is a perfect base for tramps and activities.

Directions and access
Main park gates are open from 6am to 9pm during daylight savings hours and 6am to 7pm during non-daylight saving hours.
24-hour vehicle access to the cottage is included with your booking.
The nearest boat launching facility is the public boat ramp is at Port Fitzroy Wharf, a five minute drive away.

Booking information
A minimum stay of two nights apply.
Bedrooms
- Bedroom one: one double bed
- Bedroom two: two single beds
- Bedroom three: one set of single bunk beds (sleeps two people). Top bunk is not recommended for under nine year olds.
You need to supply towels, tea towels, food, mosquito repellent, personal items, head lamps and torches.
Amenities
From spring or stream fed to tanks. All tap water in the house is drinkable, but boil if you are concerned. Please conserve water.
No mains supply. It has solar power and a generator. Save power and turn off lights when you leave the room. If you must use a hairdryer or straightener, you will need to ask for the generator to be turned on.
Fridge/freezer, gas hob and oven, wood range, kettle, pots and pans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery provided. You can toast bread using the grill on the oven. There is also a barbeque available for use.
One large bathroom with a shower and toilet. Accessible via the covered rear deck.
Wood burner heater.
Rules
Dogs, other animals and pets are prohibited at all times.
You must keep the cottage and surrounding site clean and tidy during your stay, and when you leave.
To protect against COVID-19 please clean all utensils, crockery and surfaces on your arrival and departure.Rubbish, recycling and compost bins on site. Minimising packaging in advance.
No vehicle access for day visitors.
Fires are prohibited at all times.
