The NZS5465 Certified Self-Contained Certificate (CSC) vehicle campground is located at Te Haruhi Bay.
This site is grass with large pōhutukawa trees along the eastern side and an all-weather access road with four all-weather hard stand bays.
Only vehicles with a certified self-containment certificate (CSC) can stay up to three nights. Maximum of one vehicle per booking.
Main park gates are open from 6am to 9pm during daylight savings hours and 6am to 7pm during non-daylight saving hours.
From the park entrance follow the signs to Te Haruhi Bay, and then to the CSC campground. You will need a combination code to open the locked access gate - we will send you the combination code with your booking confirmation. For your security, keep the gate locked at all times.
This site and park are not accessible after park closing times. Access codes will not open the main park entrance.

Bookings can only be made six months in advance for campgrounds. Availability refreshes at midnight daily.

Dogs, other animals and pets are prohibited at all times.
Your campsite must be clean and tidy during your stay, and when you leave.
No bins or rubbish disposal facilities. Take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.
Day visitor vehicles must be parked outside the campground. Hours are limited to gate opening hours.
You may stay in certified self-contained (CSC) vehicles at this site. Must have a current NZS5465 Certified Self-Containment Certificate from Ministry for the Environment.
Motorhomes, campervans, caravans, 5 wheelers and buses must not be longer than 8m.
You may not stay in tents or portable container dwellings.
There is a maximum of one vehicle allowed per site.
