The camping area is an open grassed area at the old Craw Homestead site on top of a ridge off Anawhata Road.
We have closed large sections of the Waitākere Ranges to prevent the spread of kauri dieback.
When you visit our parks you need to clean your footwear and equipment to avoid transferring disease from one area to another.
Find open and closed tracks and read about protecting our kauri.
Drive approximately 10km along Anawhata Road. Drive with care - the road is metal, narrow and windy, and is not suitable for long vehicles. The signpost to the campground is on the left hand side of the road.
Main park gates are open from 6am to 9pm during daylight savings hours and 6am to 7pm during non-daylight saving hours.
You will need a combination code to open the locked access gate - we will send you the combination code with your booking confirmation.
