Wenderholm CSC overnight parking area at Wenderholm Regional Park

Designated parking area for NZS5465 certified self-contained (CSC) campervan or motorhome only located in the main car park north of the notice board. Maximum of one vehicle per booking.

CSC vehicles can stay for one night in the designated parking area between October and May. Between June and September, CSC vehicles can stay up to three nights when the Schischka campground is closed.

Directions and access

Main park gates are open from 6am to 9pm during daylight savings hours and 6am to 7pm during non-daylight saving hours.

From the park entrance gate, follow the access road to the main car park.

Bookings can only be made six months in advance. Availability refreshes at midnight daily.

  • Animals

    Dogs, other animals and pets are prohibited at all times.

  • Cleaning

    Your campsite must be clean and tidy during your stay, and when you leave.

  • Rubbish

    No bins or rubbish disposal facilities. Take all rubbish and recycling with you when you leave.

  • Overnight vehicles and tents

    You may stay in certified self-contained (CSC) vehicles at this site. It must have a current NZS5465 Certified Self-Containment Certificate from Ministry for the Environment.
    Motorhomes, campervans, caravans, 5 wheelers and buses must not be longer than 8m.
    You may not stay in tents or portable container dwellings.

  • Fires

    Fires prohibited at all times.
