Our camping passes are valid for 12 months from 1 October to 30 September. They allow repeated use of most Auckland Council campgrounds and facilities (conditions apply).
There are restrictions on where and when you can use your camping pass.
You can use your 2025/2026 camping passes between 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026 at most Auckland Council regional parks (subject to availability and booking terms and conditions).
You will need to check for camping space availability on the day of your arrival.
Camping passes are the same price regardless of the date of purchase and are non-refundable once used.
You cannot use the pass to book your camping space in advance. If you wish to book ahead, see Find and book accommodation in our regional and holiday parks.

The camping pass is for all modes of camping allowed at vehicle-based and certified self-containment (CSC) vehicle campgrounds.
