These notes give information about the planning maps for the Auckland isthmus Auckland isthmus is a narrow strip of land between the Waitematā Harbour and Manukau Harbour. section of the former Auckland City District Plan.
The maps show activity zones, public works and other constraints on land development.
Each area of the isthmus is shown in three maps:
planning map 1:
defines the zoning
planning maps 2 and 3:
show additional limitations on the use of land, such as public works and other controls
additional limitations or other controls are marked with an item number in a circle and are listed in Appendix A of the maps
additional limitations on secondary reference maps are marked with a primary map number and item number
sometimes diagrams of scheduled items are shown in appendices B and C to these maps.
