During heavy rain, the combined network can become overloaded, leading to overflows and localised flooding.
Construction is taking place in and around:
These locations are key parts of the existing stormwater and wastewater network and provide suitable connection points for the new pipelines.
Major works have been scheduled during the summer period when fewer people are in the area, helping to reduce disruption.
During this time, our contractor will install critical sections of the new stormwater pipeline.
Some additional works may continue beyond this period, depending on weather and ground conditions.
