Wairau Community Recycling Centre is part of the Wairau Zero Waste Hub and is managed by Localised Ltd.
The centre offers a collection service for the public and local businesses.
A re-use shop is available at the centre where you can buy low-cost and second-hand goods.
Before you visit
Contact the centre in advance about:
- bulky items or large batches
- items that need extra handling or preparation
- anything unusual or that may need staff approval.

Fees may apply for some materials or services.

Items that may be accepted
The centre may accept and sell reusable items in the on-site reuse shop if they are in good condition. This supports sustainability in the community and gives used items a second life.
