Developed by the New Zealand Green Building Council, the HomeFit website gives you a guide on ways to improve your home.
The HomeFit tool is designed for homeowners, renters and landlords.
Once you have completed the online check, a HomeFit assessor can visit to verify if the property meets the ventilation, insulation, heating, and energy efficiency standards.
You will get a report and if your property meets an acceptable standard, it will receive HomeFit certification.
